San Choy Bow – Beef Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
2 Tbsp Mrs Tran’s Kitchen Light Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Mrs Tran’s Kitchen Premium Oyster Sauce
2 Tbsp Mrs Tran’s Kitchen Hoisin Sauce
500g Beef Mince
200g Mushrooms, chopped
1 Can (227g) water chestnut, drained & chopped
1 Small onion, diced
2 Garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Washed iceberg or cos heart lettuce leaves to serve
Protein Options:
Substitute beef for pork, chicken or firm tofu
Optional Garnish:
Chopped Spring Onions, Sliced Chilli, Coriander or Sesame Seeds
Cooking Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add mince, stir and break up lumps and cook until browned.
- Add mushrooms, cook until soft.
- Add Mrs Tran’s Kitchen Light Soy Sauce, Premium Oyster Sauce, Hoisin Sauce and water chestnuts, mix well. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
- Serve by filling lettuce cups with cooked mixture and top with optional garnishes.
