Chef’s Tips:
- For a softer texture, add 1-2 teaspoons of water/stock after the pork mixture during the layering process.
- For a richer flavour, drizzle a little extra oyster sauce on top layer of pork.
- For a spicy hit, add some Mrs Tran’s Kitchen Sate Chilli Oil on top before serving.
- Vegetarian option: replace pork for finely diced mushrooms, eggplants, zucchini, tomato or carrots (soft & tender vegetables are recommended).
