What’s New This Month

We started the month with the long-awaited Foodservice Australia show. After 2 years of lockdowns and restrictions, it was great to finally reconnect with our food industry colleagues.

Unfortunately, the March Fine Foods Australia Sydney show was cancelled but hopefully will go ahead in Melbourne on 5-8 September 2022.

Industry News

What an amazing time we had at the Foodservice Australia show earlier in the month. There was a real buzz in the air, as our industry gathered to showcase all the latest products, services and innovations.

Thanks to everyone who visited us and taste tested our food offerings, it was so lovely meeting you all.

Coeliac Awareness Week (13-20 March 2022)

Coeliac Disease Affects Many People Banner

In Australia, approximately 1 in 70 people have coeliac disease but 4 out of 5 cases are undiagnosed. This year’s Coeliac Awareness Week campaign aims to raise awareness, increase diagnosis and highlight the link between coeliac disease and iron deficiency.

As an endorsed partner of Coeliac Australia, we at Mrs. Tran’s Kitchen encourage people with iron deficiency or related symptoms to seek medical advice and ask: Could it be coeliac disease?
