Ingredients

Serves 4

1 Kg Pork chops (8 small or 4 large)

Marinade:

3 Tbsp Mrs Tran’s Kitchen Light Soy Sauce

3 Tbsp Mrs Tran’s Kitchen Premium Oyster Sauce

2 Tbsp Mrs Tran’s Kitchen Premium Fish Sauce

1 Lemongrass stalk, finely chopped

2 Tbsp Honey (omit for low FODMAP)

2 Garlic gloves, minced (omit for low FODMAP)

Protein Options:

Substitute Pork for Lamb Chops, Chicken Maryland or Firm Tofu

Cooking Instructions

  1. Combine marinade ingredients in a shallow dish and mix well. Add pork chops into marinade, ensuring chops are evenly coated and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
  2. Preheat grill/BBQ to med-high and cook chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  3. To finish off, brush both sides of the pork chops with some honey and allow to caramelise slightly on the grill.
  4. Remove cooked chops and rest for a few minutes before serving with steamed rice, your favourite sides and Vietnamese Dipping Sauce – Nước Chấm (click here for recipe).
