3 Easy to Prepare Foods to Feed a Crowd This Festive Season

1. Prawn Dumplings (Ha Gao)

These dumplings are always a crowd favourite and it’s not hard to see why. These traditional prawn dumplings are individually handcrafted with freshly made in-house pastry. They are bursting with flavour that you can actually see; each dumpling has at least 2 whole real prawns, not a mixture of minced prawns with fillers. They are MSG Free, Halal certified and are available in Gluten-Free varieties too.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Steam: From frozen, steam for at least 10 minutes. Serve with soy sauce and some MTK Sate Chilli Oil for a spicy hit!

2. Bao Buns

Who doesn’t like sinking their teeth into the pillowy softness of a bao bun? They are so versatile to entertain with as you can fill them with any sweet or savoury ingredient, you’re only limited by your imagination.

Tip: Fried bao buns taste like donuts and are great served with ice-cream for a sweet serving option.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Steam (perfect for savoury filling): From frozen, steam for 5 minutes.

Deep Fry (great for sweet fillings): From frozen, deep fry the buns on medium heat for a few minutes until golden-brown.

3. Gourmet Meat Dumplings

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Steam: Steam from frozen for 10 minutes.
(Soup-filled dumplings can only be steamed, not boiled/pan fried)

Boil: Boil from frozen for 10 minutes.

Pan Fry: From frozen, fry in a little oil for 1 min. Add some water and cover pan with lid, cook until water evaporates.
